ABOUT US

Made in KC was founded in 2015, when we partnered with fifteen local makers to open one storefront. Thanks to the abundant creativity in our city and thanks to the support of our generous community, Made in KC has since grown to six locations across the metro and now works with over 300 local artists, makers, and designers. We carry a diverse range of product ranging from candles to canned goods, and we’re always looking for new, exciting, and well-made products to share with our customers.

Have something you’d like us to sell?

If you are interested in selling your products at Made in KC, please fill out our wholesale submission form for consideration. We will review your submission to determine if the item(s) meet our needs and fit with the character of our stores. Because of the high volume of submissions we receive, we cannot guarantee a response to all submissions. We will contact you directly if we are interested in your products.

We only accept products made or designed in Kansas City and the surrounding metro.

How we work

Made in KC purchases 99% of product on a wholesale basis, not on consignment.

Out of respect for our customers, we ask that makers not pitch items to Made in KC during business hours. If we are interested in your work, we may schedule a time for you to come by and show us your items in person. Please do not drop off samples unless requested.
